DBE Supportive Services
In Partnership with MaineDOT
At EMDC, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Supportive Services program is a resource for Maine-based businesses which have been certified as DBEs by the MaineDOT Civil Rights Office.
The goal of the DBE program is to ensure a "level playing field" in which DBEs can compete fairly for MaineDOT contracts and to reduce burdens on small businesses.
A client working with DBE Supportive Services has access to a variety of resources which include marketing assistance, networking opportunities, computer and technical assistance, website development, business plan development, and workshops which provide practical, hands-on business management information.
Visit http://www.mainedbe.org/ for more information about DBE eligibility, certification and program resources.
