President & CEO

The Board of Directors of Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC) has launched a search for a dynamic and experienced leader as its next CEO.

Youth Career Advisor

EMDC is hiring a full-time Youth Career Advisor for direct delivery of services to customers from application through job placement and follow-up. The Career Advisor works with customers to develop and execute employment and training plans, utilizing appropriate resources and support services per program guidelines.

Northern Maine AmeriCorps Collaborative

We are looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for working with youth in their communities, and want to earn a stipend and an education award while doing so. Members in this program will increase economic opportunity for communities by engaging youth as AmeriCorps members. Serving alongside AmeriCorps members at host sites in Penobscot, Hancock and Piscataquis counties, Northern Maine AmeriCorps members will have the opportunity to assist non-profit agencies, which also function as host sites for members. Host sites consist of educational institutions, municipalities, non-profits and faith-based organizations.
